Himachal works all year. December to February brings snow to Shimla, Kufri, Manali and Solang. March to June is the cool summer escape and the best time for Kasol, Jibhi and Tirthan. June to October is Spiti season, when the high passes are usually open. During the July–August monsoon, some roads can be affected by landslides, so we plan routes around the weather.
Five nights is the comfortable minimum: two in Shimla and three in Manali, with a day for Solang Valley and Atal Tunnel. Three or four nights works if you choose only one of the two.
Hotel stay on double sharing, daily breakfast and dinner, a private cab for all transfers and sightseeing, pick-up and drop, and tolls, parking, fuel and driver allowance. Each package page lists its own inclusions and exclusions. Entry tickets, lunch and adventure activities are usually extra.
Most trips start from Delhi or Chandigarh by private cab, and some use an overnight Volvo. Tell us your city and we will suggest the easiest way to reach the hills.
Snow is most likely from late December to February in Shimla, Kufri, Manali and Solang Valley. Higher spots such as Atal Tunnel and Sissu often have snow for longer. Snowfall depends on the weather each year, so we suggest the best spot closer to your dates.
Yes. Rohtang Pass needs a vehicle permit, issued online in limited numbers, and the pass is open only part of the year. Atal Tunnel and Sissu don't need this permit. Our team will tell you what's possible for your dates.
