About Kasol trips

Our Kasol trips are made for friends, couples and young families who want a slower trip than Manali. They include the stay, a private cab, meals as per the plan and pickup from Delhi or Chandigarh, and most combine Kasol with Manali or Jibhi.

Best time to visit Kasol

March to June and September to November are the best months. Winters are cold but quiet, and the Kheerganga trek is best done between April and November.

How to reach Kasol

Kasol is about 520 km from Delhi (11 to 12 hours) and about 280 km from Chandigarh. The nearest airport is Bhuntar (Kullu), about 31 km away. Most guests take an overnight Volvo to Bhuntar or Kasol, or come by our cab from Delhi or Chandigarh.

Places to see in Kasol

Manikaran Sahib: Gurudwara and temple with natural hot springs, 4 km from Kasol.
Chalal: A 30-minute riverside walk to a small village of cafés and guest houses.
Kheerganga: A 12 km trek from Barshaini to hot springs and a meadow with big mountain views.
Tosh: One of the highest villages in the valley, at the end of the road past Barshaini.
Malana viewpoint: The road towards one of Himachal's oldest villages, with its own customs.
Parvati riverside: Cafés, river walks and evenings by the water in Kasol itself.

Good to know: Kheerganga trek day needs good shoes and a light backpack. We arrange the stay at the top in tents or huts and can add a local guide.
